Smarter decisions for a greener future

Reduzer was founded in 2021 by Eirik Resch as an extension of his Ph.D. in architecture, applied mathematics, and computer science at NTNU and DTU. Over the course of four years, Eirik worked on developing better methods for calculating GHG from building materials. The expertise he developed played a key role in the drafting of the Futurebuilt criteria.

While the methods were effective, he identified a critical gap: a lack of user-friendly tools that the industry could actually adopt to make informed decisions. To solve this problem, Eirik was joined by Herman Rinholm, who served as an environmental advisor at Multiconsult until 2022. The result was a decision-support platform that empowers architects, engineers, property developers and contractors to make cost-effective and environment-friendly choices throughout the project.

One platform, endless climate gains

What began as a tool to simplify climate reporting has quickly evolved into a multi-purpose platform for carbon calculation, portfolio management, and much more, with its features continuously growing. Users are able to choose from more than 15 000 datapoints of EPDs, compare their designs and create reports with benchmarks for BREAM, EU-Taxonomy, TEK17, FutureBuilt, Svanen and many more.
