What these numbers are

Each figure is the material carbon this frame-and-floor choice produces for one reference building, a 4 000 m² office over four storeys, so the six are directly comparable. Covers structure, roof, facade and internal walls; excludes foundations and ground works, building services and fit-out. Indicative only: the factors are chosen to rank materials correctly, not to report a project. A real calculation uses your own geometry and verified product data.

“Previously, calculating the climate footprint of technical equipment has been time-consuming. With Reduzer's early-phase calculator for technical equipment, we have already included this in the sketch project phase.”

What Reduzer is, who it's for, and how it helps you reduce emissions and stay in control.

What is Reduzer?

Reduzer is a carbon decision platform built for the construction industry. It calculates a building’s emissions from early concept through completion, giving project teams a single place to model, test, and compare carbon outcomes. The platform makes carbon measurable and actionable at the moments when design and material choices still influence cost, performance, and compliance.

Who is Reduzer for?

Reduzer is for all roles involved in shaping a project’s carbon footprint: architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and property developers.

It scales from small practices to large portfolios, and is designed to be robust enough for carbon specialists, with full transparency into the data. It is also intuitive enough for non‑experts, so anyone responsible for a decision can test and act on the numbers themselves.

The platform ensures that carbon ownership sits with the people making the choices.

How does Reduzer help reduce emissions?

Reduzer enables reductions where they matter most: early‑stage decisions. Using Automodel, the platform generates carbon calculations from the first sketch, when design and material changes have the highest impact.

Teams can test design and material alternatives, compare versions side‑by‑side, identify lower‑carbon options before they are fixed, work through all project stages in a single continuous model, and switch between regulatory schemes without recreating projects.

Carbon becomes a strategic design parameter, giving teams control over reductions and visibility into their impact.

Which regulations and schemes does Reduzer support?

Reduzer is built around the standards that underpin building carbon: EN 15978 for building-level assessment and EN 15804 for product data, with methods that trace to FutureBuilt ZERO. It produces the documentation for the schemes our markets run on, including Norway's TEK17, Sweden's klimatdeklaration, BREEAM, FutureBuilt, and many more, so the compliance report becomes an export from work you've already done.
