Sweden's mandatory climate declaration for new buildings, submitted to Boverket before the final occupancy permit is issued.
The klimatdeklaration is the Swedish requirement to declare the climate impact of a new building's construction phase. The developer registers the declaration with Boverket, and the final occupancy permit (slutbesked) depends on it being in place.
It covers the building phase, A1–A3 production, A4 transport and A5 construction, for the load-bearing structure, the climate shell and interior walls, with resource use documented against Boverket's rules and the SBEF/BSAB83 classification used across Swedish practice.
