What is BREEAM-NOR?

BREEAM-NOR is the Norwegian version of the BREEAM environmental certification scheme, run by Grønn Byggallianse. Life-cycle assessment sits in the Mat 01 credits, where points are awarded for carrying out the assessment early and for demonstrating a reduction against a reference building.

The credit is about evidence: which alternatives were assessed, when in the process, and what the reduction was. Reduzer keeps versions of the calculation as the project develops, so that story is documented rather than reconstructed.
